"The Saga of Skade" is the first outdoor laser display being specially made for a winter environment, with the aim at utilizing the unique interplay between the intense light effects of the laser and the sculptural surrounding of snow and ice.

The unique ability of the multiple-color laser to project animated images onto large surfaces, is often used for creating performances aimed at giving a festive touch to events – or making an event in itself. The Saga of Skade is built around this use of laser.

The visual story is driven by a narrator and a dialogue, and is framed by music and sound effects. The drama is in sequences intensified by light and laser effects, pyrotechnics, etc.
